Speaking to the BBC regarding the interest, Evans stated he was humbled by the connection to such a significant club, but emphasized his dedication to his current project. "I’m not going anywhere," he confirmed. The club later shared footage of the karaoke celebrations on their official X account, drawing positive reactions from supporters who praised Evans for his role in uniting the club and its community.
